It's not actionable to the NFL, almost all owners, and certainly not for Stan K.

Well the joke is going to be on them when the last part of this unfolds. This was StL's week.

No more home games. If ESK wants / needs to be less silent, now he can. Kind of doubt he will unless McFab Spandardson start crowing it's good enough.

I hope the fine economists on this site have been / are accurate....

Their week took a massive hit after yesterday's letter. And it'll get worse when the state files a lawsuit. Plus they're missing 100 million from their budget. Basically their little vote today approved 70 million dollars from the city and another 75 million in future taxes coming out of Stan's pocket.

NFL blocks Stan because of this garbage proposal, this will be the new precedent for any future municipality in terms of stadium public offerings.

But let the idiots enjoy today.

So they passed the plan with the $300m G4 loan? Somebody congratulate them for wasting time yet?

No kidding. Enjoy some QFTOS BoA vote

Today - Dec 18th, 2015 - a date which will live in infamy —the good people of St. Louis suddenly and deliberately and successfully defended an attack by Stan Kroenke and the evil forces of the Empire of the NFL.

Happy Victory over LA day.

Stan will not be awarded LA and not cooperating with this deal will have him squarely in the hot seat as an owner and not in the favor of his billionaire fraternity.

Peacock, Nixon, Slay and Reed deserve a round of internet applause.

YES!!!
What a long and stinking process....
Now just the January owner's meeting...

Yes!!! Another box checked. Public vote finished. Finally.
The ball is now out of St. Louis and in the court of Stan and the NFL. Many doubted we would get this far, and here we are. No team has ever relocated after this crucial step had been accomplished.

Of course they are not going to turn their backs on STL's efforts due to the guarantee of $400 million in financing, with a sweetheart lease that is almost annual free rent

I'm hoping at the very least it keeps the Rams from ever taking a snap in LA.

The Rams will never play in a stadium in Inglewood. That much is almost for sure.

Kind of like the waste of time we gotta go through reading the endless garbage on this site out of LALA loser land?

I really hoped it'd die today, but it will be interesting watching these guys get it as the next couple of weeks unfolds. It is amusing to see their civic pride swell for doing something no other city has done, but forgetting the part about not touching all the basses.
