Risk to reward. Getting hurt in a game that counts makes the risk more defensible. Just hope they can flip the switch when the real games are up. Are some guys just going to get injured though? It seems regardless of approach, some guys are going to miss time. So, is it better to subject those guys...

Just saw the backup DE for the Vikings get carted off and just like every preseason, there are going to be injuries. But it got me to thinking about trying to protect these guys. I mean, if you hold them out to avoid injury does that mean you feel like it's inevitable that an injury is going to happ...

AJ McCarron fractures collarbone. Let the Josh Allen era begin. He's looked better than the other Bills QB's anyway and it would be a shame to delay his career for no good reason. Feel bad for AJ but he would have had to have played spectacularly to keep Allen on the bench.

Last year, as bad as they were they lost 4 or 5 games by 3 or less. They were in most of their games. Their crappy O had a zillion turnovers which killed them. I wouldn't be surprised if they won 4-5 games this year--seriously Seems logical but they lost by a TD or less 5 times in 2015, 6 times in ...

Well... The vote for bench spots is dead even split. I am going to leave this open for a few more days to see if anyone else chimes in. If not, I'll have to make a call as the commissioner. :shock2: Well, I want it to go my way but IMO, to change something that most are accustomed to, a 3/4 vote sh...

Rams went 11-5 had the best season they've had in over a decade, i'd say the approach is working pretty good. Measuring your team by preseason is a fool's errand, imo. And it was the Falcons... I don't recall, did they rest everyone last preseason? If that was just McVay's method then I'd agree tha...

What are you going for here? A1's stats do a pretty fantastic job of showing just how meaningless preseason stats are... If anyone was arguing the merits of preseason stats I might see the cause. He has stated they are meaningless. Others have stated they are meaningless. No one seems to be in disa...

the super bowl champs sat their starters for the final 3 quarters of game 16, then took two weeks off before their first postseason game, then took another two weeks off before the super bowl, seemed to work out ok for them? the rams sat their entire team, not just their starters, during the week 8...

If preseason stats mean nothing, why are you presenting these preseason stats? I'm curious what point you are implying.
